About Time

Monday, December 12th, 2005 by Nick Verwymeren

After one and a half months of waiting my new iMac finally arrived. I can’t say I was all to impressed with Mac and their painfully slow shipping. Having my new computer is definately a huge blessing.

As many of you know I was using a three year old iBook before. It got the job done, but rather slowly. Most of my day would be spent just waiting for things to open. Already I’ve found I’m able to do much more with this computer. The one down side is that last Friday I noticed that the web cam that comes with the computer already has a dead spot in it. I’m going to call them today about fixing it as it’s under warranty for three years. I’m just hoping that I won’t need to bring my computer in to fix it.

I’m realising more everyday that it’s not what you have but how you use it. Obviously having a new computer allows me to get work done at three times the speed, but I can’t let what I have limit me. God has definatley been showing me that I need to always be grateful for what he has given me. When I out-grow those things I know he will give me more, but I need to use what he has given me for the moment to it’s fullest potential.

Thanks again to all who supported me in this project. It really has helped a lot and relevied many of my frustrations.

    Hey Nick
Is that snow around your computer???? Do you really miss it that much?
Don’t worry, we’ll save some for you so you can get the full experience if you visit in the winter.

About Us

Sara and I (Nick) have been married since June 2007. We volunteer with an organization called YWAM (Youth With A Mission). YWAM has close to 1000 bases around the world. One of those bases is Reef to Outback in Townsville, Australia which is where we are located. Nick currently works in the communications department and Sara works with the music ministry. We believe that we will be in Australia for a few more years to continue volunteering. Neither of us receive a salary from RTO (Reef to Outback) or YWAM for what we do. We must raise all of our own support through church, friends, family, and anyone else who is genuinely interested in helping us (if you’d like to help us please visit our ‘Donate‘ section).
